Can You Confidently Manage EU Projects with PM²? Here’s What Participants Learned in March 2025

Another online training on PM² Project Management Methodology for European Funded Projects was successfully delivered on 3-4 March 2025, bringing together professionals committed to improving their project delivery through the European Commission’s standard project management methodology.

This intensive two-day course equipped participants with the skills, tools, and structured approach required to efficiently manage EU-funded projects. Designed specifically for the EU funding landscape, PM² helps project teams align with EC expectations and improve funding success rates.

Participants explored every stage of the PM² project lifecycle  from initiation and planning to execution and closure  with a strong focus on governance, stakeholder roles, and the use of PM² artefacts. They also learned how to tailor the methodology to different funding programmes, such as Horizon Europe, and how to integrate project monitoring, risk management, and quality assurance into day-to-day implementation.

Interactive workshops allowed attendees to gain practical experience applying PM² tools and artefacts, while clear guidance was provided on preparing for the PM² Basic Certification  a credential included in the course.

By the end of the training, participants had developed a solid foundation to confidently manage EU-funded projects, ensure compliance, and achieve stronger outcomes.
