How Confident Are You in Handling an EU Audit? Insights from Our March 2025 Training in Athens 

European Academy hosted another in-class course on Financial Administration & Auditing Preparation for EU-Funded Projects in Athens between the 20th and 21st of March, bringing together professionals from across sectors who are actively managing European Commission-funded projects. 

The training offered a hands-on, practical learning experience focused on strengthening participants’ financial compliance and audit readiness. The face-to-face format encouraged dynamic exchanges, in-depth discussion, and peer-to-peer learning, creating a highly engaging and productive training environment. 

Participants gained a solid understanding of contractual and financial obligations linked to EU-funded projects, including documentation standards, eligible vs. non-eligible costs, and the distinction between direct and indirect costs.
