Another Financial Administration & Auditing Preparation for E.C. Funded Projects course was completed successfully, this time online. Following our attendees’ interest, our tutor was pleased to answer a wide range of queries regarding the involvement of the Granting Authority in managing the financial and other risks related to the Grant at all stages of the process. Attendees were also eager to elaborate further on the eligibility rules of all cost categories and reporting of SME owners’ involvement in the Grant, while our expert highlighted the budget management and possibilities of transfers between categories/beneficiaries. Among other topics, the calculation of both the hourly rates for H2020 and the daily rates for Horizon Europe drew participants’ attention. Additionally, the Coordinator’s role in managing the financial project risk and responsibilities towards the consortium partners and the Granting Authority were thoroughly analysed and discussed during the 2-days session.
